The shoulder pad can be mounted three different ways; it can screw into Zacuto rod extensions, it can be mounted directly underneath your rod system to achievecounterbalance with DOF camera rigs by using a Zacuto Q-release (ZCZQR) or it can be used in conjunction with the Zacuto Zoffset (ZCZOFF) . The Zoffset is used with professional camcorders that have the viewfinders positioned in the center in order to have your eye positioned comfortably in the viewfinder. The shoulder pad can be placed between the Universal Baseplate (ZCZUB3) and Doublemount (ZCZDM3) to achieve balanced handheld shots. The shoulder pad can also be placed directly under the camera when using a DOF adapter by using a Q-release.(ZCZQR) The Shoulder Pad includes 7" rods. see details
